The House & Gardens

The House & Gardens are the historic home of the Lansdowne family. Discover the rich history behind the house, set within 100 acres of 'Capability' Brown parkland, and complemented by the Italian-inspired Terrace Garden, Walled Garden, and vibrant herbaceous borders that change with the seasons.

There are immersive tours, unmissable events, and a variety of ways to experience this area of the Bowood estate. And for children, there is an Adventure Playground, featuring a life-size pirate ship and more.
